Professional Summary

Melissa Lansdell built her practice around the disorienting middle of a life transition — the space after a career shift, a loss, a health scare, or simply the sense that the life you built no longer fits, before the next chapter has taken shape.

She’s a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) completing her MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, with an earlier Master’s in Psychology from Carleton. Before therapy, Melissa spent 15+ years in leadership and career development — so when a client is wrestling with burnout or a professional identity crisis, she’s usually seen the workplace side of it too, not just the emotional one. Sessions with her tend to move at the client’s pace: some weeks are about tools and next steps, others are simply about being heard.
